西南大学附属小学，是教育部直属、国家首批“双一流”建设高校——西南大学的附属小学。学校前身是1940年建立的国立女子师范学院的子弟校，1952 年因全国院系调整随西南师范学院迁址重庆北碚。1984年，学校更名为西南师范学院实验小学校。1985年更名为西南师范大学实验小学。80余年的办学历史中，校名几经更替。2005年10月，西南师范大学与西南农业大学合并组建西南大学，学校更名为西南大学附属小学。学校现为一校三区，解放路校区位于北碚区天生街道新村66号，缙云校区位于北碚区北温泉街道文思路286号，作孚校区位于北碚区北温泉街道缙云大道69号。学校占地面积约130亩，规划108个教学班。

The Primary School Affiliated to Southwest University
The Primary School Affiliated to Southwest University is a primary school directly under the Ministry of Education and affliated with Southwest University, a national "Double First-Class" initiative university. Founded in 1940 as the staff children’s school of National Women's Normal College, it relocated to Beibei District, Chongqing, in 1952 during the nationwide higher education restructuring, alongside Southwest Normal University. Over its 80-year history, the school has undergone several name changes: renamed Southwest Normal University Experimental Primary School in 1984, and finally adopting its current name in 2005 after the merger of Southwest Normal University and Southwest Agricultural University into Southwest University. The school now operates across three campuses:
- Jiefang Road Campus: No.66 Xincun Road, Tiansheng Subdistrict, Beibei District
- Jinyun Campus: No.286 Wensi Road, Beiwenquan Subdistrict, Beibei District
- Zuofu Campus: No.69 Jinyun Avenue, Beiwenquan Subdistrict, Beibei District
Covering an area of 130 mu(approximately 21.5 acres), the school is designed to accomondate 108 classes. Rooted in the fundamental mission of fostering virtue and nurturing well-rounded individuals, the school implements its "Green Education" philosophy, which emphasizes respect, harmony, and holistic growth. By focusing on cultivating core competencies in physical-mental health, language proficiency, and artistic literacy, the school has established a distinctive "Three-Tier, Dual-Pillar" curriculum system. Guided by the educational ethos of "perpetual vitality", the "Green Education" initiative aims to realize its vision as follows "Nurturing Ecological Wisdom in Southwest China, Sowing Seeds of Excellence Across the Nation."
